Applications are invited for an appointment as Head of Research Post-Award at NUI Galway.
This position seeks an experienced and energetic individual with a deep understanding of the research lifecycle - from proposal preparation, to project initiation, management and delivery - to develop and implement, with other relevant responsible units, a fit-for-purpose research post-award ecosystem. The post-holder will be responsible for advancing NUI Galway’s post-award research support ecosystem; developing a research intelligence framework and the data requirements for accurate reporting and decision-making; and supporting researchers and the University with respect to compliance with funder and institutional obligations.

Salary: €72,919 to €93,017 p.a (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)
(This appointment will be made on the Administrative Officer scale in line with current Government pay policy)
